If Caught With a Non-Compliant Bat
The batter is out, the manager is ejected, and any baserunner advancement is nullified per USSSA rules. Verify your equipment before game one.

Bat Requirements 4 DIVISIONS
12U & Under
USSSA 1.15 Stamp
Bats must carry the official USSSA 1.15 BPF mark. This includes 8U, 9U, 10U, 11U, and 12U divisions across all classifications (Majors, AAA, AA).
Look for
USSSA thumbprint logo on the barrel
13U AAA & AA
−8 Drop or Lower
Required to use −8 or lower numbered bats. A 32-inch bat must weigh at least 24 ounces. USSSA 1.15 stamp still required.

13U Majors
−5 Drop or Lower
Any team playing in the 13U Majors division — even AAA or AA teams playing up — must use a −5 or lower numbered bat.

14U & Up
−3 BBCOR · Wood · Wood Composite
High School approved BBCOR certified bats, solid wood, or wood composite. Same standard as varsity high school play.
Look for
"BBCOR .50" certification on the barrel
