Summer League — Overview
SUMMER League: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday games. 7U to 18U ages.
Locations: Mistlin Ripon, Rainbow Fields Modesto, and BLD Manteca.
12 Games and play-offs for $1800.
Summer League Teams will get ONE Tournament for $655 price, and $100 practice times at Mistlin while space is still available.

- Register your team at www.usssa.com/login for the 2026 season.

FALL League — 2027 New Season
All teams move up one age and need to register with USSSA.

FALL 2026 Divisions — Open for Sign-Up
Spring T-Ball
3 to 5 year olds as of April 30, 2026. Mondays at Rainbow Fields Modesto. March 2 to May 18. Game times 5:15pm or 6:15pm. $125. Includes jersey and hat. Rainbow Fields charges a gate fee for parents. Head coach is free — looking for T-Ball coaches.
Limited to first 48 players.

- Make $135 payment before Feb. 20 deadline.
Spring Coach Pitch
FULL. 5 to 7 year olds as of April 30, 2026. Mondays, Tuesdays, or Wednesdays at Rainbow Modesto or Mistlin Ripon. March 2 to May 19. Games at 5:15 or 6:15. $150. Includes jersey and hat. Limited to first 24 players; we also take full team sign-ups at this level.
League Rules — T-Ball
Players can be 3 to 5 years old but not turn 6 before April 20, 2026.
Field: Bases 50 ft. Double base at first. Pitcher takes position at 45' from home plate. Ball must travel 15 feet to be fair.
Equipment: T-Adjustable. Batting helmets provided by players at parents' discretion.
Ball: Incrediball-type soft baseball.
- Game is 4 innings or 60 minutes; no new inning after 55 minutes.
- Every player hits off the batting tee. No pitching.
- No walks or strikeouts.
- All players play defense — 5 in the infield, extras in the outfield.
- All players bat on offense.
- Ball must travel 15 feet when hit to be fair.
- No extra-base hits; players advance 1 base when the ball is put in play.
- No stealing.
- All outs are force-outs.
- No sandals. All defensive players need a glove/mitt.
League Rules — Coach Pitch Division
Players can be 5 to 7 years old but cannot turn 8 before April 30, 2026.
- 60-foot bases.
- Pitcher at 45' from home plate. Ball must travel 15 feet to be fair.
- Coach pitches from within the circle drawn around the 45' mound.
- Continuous batting order. Ten players play on the field.
- Play is dead when the pitcher controls the ball with both feet inside the circle.
- Batter and all base runners must wear helmets.
- No new inning after 55 minutes or 6 innings. Games can end in a tie.
- A batter receives 5 pitches or 3 strikes. No walks.
- Teams may use a catcher (in full gear) or not.
- Infield-fly rule not in effect.
- One offensive and defensive time-out per inning.
League Rules — 8U Rookies Division
- Pitching distance: 44 feet. Bases: 60 feet.
- Continuous batting order — all players bat.
- Rookies can play with 9 or 10 in the outfield. 4 outfielders on the grass.
- Players can only sit out two innings in a row.
- No lead-offs. Runners may steal once the pitched ball passes home plate.
- No new inning after 1 hour 40 min or 6 innings. 5 runs max per inning.
- No metal spikes. Approved USSSA bats allowed. No balks.
- Pitchers: 3 innings per game max.
- Courtesy runner for pitcher or catcher anytime — must be last batted out.
- No run rule (just 5 runs max per inning).
- Automatic out on a dropped/missed third strike.
League Rules — 9U to High School
- Teams can bat 9, 10, or whole lineup.
- No new inning after 1 hr 40 min or 6 innings (7 for 13U+), or DROP DEAD at 2 hours for Pool play.
- Games can end in a tie if tied after 6 innings (7 for 13U+).
- 5 runs max per inning. Less than 20 minutes left: umpires declare an open inning.
- Run rules:
- 6-inning game: 15 after 3 | 8 after 4
- 7-inning game: 15 after 3 | 12 after 4 | 8 after 5
- USSSA-approved bats. USA bats allowed.
- Metal spikes not allowed at BLD Manteca or Mistlin Fields Ripon.
- 3rd-ball dropped strike is played.
- Courtesy runner for pitcher or catcher anytime.
- Pitchers: 3 innings per game for 14U/15U-A and younger.
- Distances: 46/65 (9U–10U), 50/70 (11U–12U), 54/80 (13U), 60/90 (14U+).
- Players must play 4 games to be eligible for playoffs.
- All players on USSSA roster; only 1 team per season.
League Rules — 13U 54/80 and Older
All rules above apply, plus:
- No metal spikes at BLD Manteca or Mistlin Fields Ripon.
- Pitchers: 3 innings per game for 13U and 14U/15U-A.
- High School Division: no pitching limit set by us — managers should use discretion and never overpitch players.
